My focus in cybersecurity involves developing and implementing comprehensive security measures to protect sensitive data and maintain system integrity, encompassing strategic database and API security designs with a focus on utilizing encryption standards like SSL and HTTPS, adhering to DNSSEC, and applying the principle of least privilege. My proactive approach to cybersecurity is further demonstrated through hands-on experience with penetration testing tools like Metasploit, OWASP ZAP, and Nikto, and extending to robust defenses against DDoS attacks and managing Web Application Firewalls (WAF), often leveraging Cloudflare's capabilities. This holistic strategy ensures the highest level of protection against a wide spectrum of cyber threats, safeguarding digital infrastructures.
